VAR determined his arms were only 99.25% fully around his body so not the necessary level to warrant a penalty being awarded

By raya or saliba?

Raya should be able to come and punch the ball away, the contact is minimal.

Don’t want pens given for that.

I'd say Saliba holding him, significantly restricting his ability to jump, restricting his use of his arms to control that jump and meet the header, then on top of that restricting his ability to protect himself with Raya coming in was a foul and endangered him too.

Although we have seen incidents of keepers coming out and punching opponents and it being deemed a penalty too.

That's a foul for me.

If everyone was just jumping and competing for the ball, that's a different argument. I just don't think Saliba ever went for the ball here. Again, I don't really get the logic even with different circumstances of Cunha getting pulled on his shoulder competing for a ball and it being a sending off and penalty and this not being deemed the same.

It's a pen !

Also the other Chelsea player bottom right also has an arsenal player hugging him.

So two pens.

They are two legged those semi finals so expect a decent gate at Southport for the first leg and an absolute belter at Marine for the second leg if they can give themselves a legitimate chance with a decent result away.

I am indeed talking bollocks.

It's confused me because Khalsa's good friends Punjab United (Kent) have reached the Vase Semis where the first leg is played on the same date as the Trophy semis with the second leg the week after. I've read the draw for both which states the dates and have skimmed it and not noticed it applies to one competition and not the other.

Sorry for helping to contribute to the torrent of fake news on the internet these days. Was not my intention 😂
