I'm not saying concerns aren't valid, but there are a couple of extra posts across the last few pages. I agree with the disabled seating areas, the lack of branding, there being too much concrete and not enough blue... My point is that the stadium will evolve over time and we'll find what works for us (the same as fans finding where they want to be seated/stood).Gash wrote: ↑Thu Feb 26, 2026 10:23 pm I don't think it's dramatic, the likes of the South Stand doesn't bother me but people are right to have concerns over some aspects of the ground. It's a multi million pound state of the art stadium built in one go, Goodison was built and redeveloped in many stages over many years. I doubt there's plans to do any Goodison-esque changes over the next quarter of a century to HDS so the two aren't really comparable.
How often do people move into a new home and not want to change anything? Even new builds. When you start to live with the plans you thought were perfect you realise what needs tweaking and changing.
And of course I'm not referring to redevelopments akin to what Goodison went through (but you know that). I'm pointing out that this will be a long term home and changes will inevitably take place over the years.
