Can’t believe we’re having to pay so much to park and bloody hike, we really should have had a car park sorted

I’m guessing a lot of clubs are the same but went in the club shop before the game, bloody expensive! Probably the way merchandise at football clubs is these days but it’s steep

We haven't won any of those 5, so it's just been sitting there in the cold watching crap for the most part. You could stick the 3-0 against Spurs on top of that as well which was 4:30 on a Sunday after the clocks went back.
The other 6 non-night matches we've won 4, drawn 1 and lost 1 and I had a lovely time in most of them!
Not sure the reason why our record is like that, I guess overall we've played tougher teams in the later kick offs but even that includes Wolves, Leeds and West Ham who you'd expect us to beat at home.
It'd be nice to get a good home win at night just to make the place really feel like Everton because it felt like that's where Goodison thrived, so hopefully we start with tonight!

My theory of letting the opposition kick towards their own fans in the second half being a bad idea always holds up.
I’m just glad I’m at the other end now so i don’t have to see no marks week in week out celebrating winners infront of me anymore.

Something really needs to be done about the empty seats.
It looks awful on tv.

Re: New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock
I think last night was genuinely a lot of unsold seats, there was large areas available on the OS for sale in the run up to it. It probably didn't help that Bournemouth only took half their allocation so there was a massive empty space in the away section. Don't think the weather helped either, looked like a lot of people nearer the front headed to the concourse to take cover.
They do need to sort the wider problem though, the fact it's usually large blocks would suggest it's remarketing companies not selling the seats they've taken so the club can say it's a sell out but it's clear that it's not.

Re: New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock
They sell hundreds to seat unique.
I am looking forward to a lot changing in the summer.
They also need to get rid of those fucking metal detector things at the wall entrance. It's a fucking nightmare and the queues to get in last night with 5 mins to go was awful
Stood in pissing rain people shouting to move forward etc
They ended up telling people to just go through and not stop so it was pointless having them there anyway!!
So much needs to change in the summer.

In fairness, that photo's at full time but obviously used for dramtic effect.
There was always going to be issues needing addressed and it'll take time to sort them out, no doubt some compaines have contracts for this season to take tickets so there's not much can be done straight away. But, I know like I've been beating the same drum there was a lot of tickets available for last night so it's not like people who wanted to go couldn't go. The only issue with that is tickets not being available to non members, that needs addressed but the club have backed themselves into a corner a bit with that one, firstly with it only being ballot originally and then not puting tickets on general sale to non members.
Personally I can see next season being more back to normal, priority purchase to members then general sale a few days after, the initial interest in the stadium has gone now and there's clearly lots ot tickets not getting into the hands of fans.

Re: New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock
I suspect lots of clubs over egg the level of waiting list numbers for season tickets. It’s to encourage existing holders to renew for fear that if they give their season ticket up, it could be years before they are able to get one againAudrey Horne wrote:Hmmm
