Going ahead and making those subs after they'd equalised was a big red flag for me. The complexion of the game changes totally when you go from 1-0 to 1-1 and you at least hold off and take stock for a few minutes rather than just cracking on anyway.

This is the biggest take for me.

This and his absolute hard on for playing players out of position.

He's done the rounds and sadly hasn't changed really for me over the years.

Still think he is a good manager for where we are now and I still back him to have us higher than last season but I can't wait until we have a more progressive manager.

Last night proved he'll always be very risk averse and has a ceiling to where he can take clubs.

All went to shit, but we aren't having these conversations if Barry scores either for his massive chances, especially the second. Or KDH's shot isn't headed away as it was sailing in the top corner... Or any of the other chances we missed.

I guess they're the fine margins between everyone saying he's set the team up well and we've won comfortably, and losing with everything being questioned.

Those subs were like he'd decided before the game he was going to make them regardless of how the match was actually going.

I know Barry missed a couple but at least he was getting chances. Beto should never be coming on as early as 60 mins or whatever it was.

Swap the managers on the bench and we win that easily.

He's a one dimensional manager who can't seemingly adapt his thinking either in game or when he has options to choose from pre match.

His blind spots and stubbornesss will be his downfall. The best job he'll ever get at this stage in his career and he's not capable of adapting or setting a team up differently to take advantage of the new stadium and increased expectations.

I know we should be grateful we aren't in a relegation scrap but we can all see the issues and a possible way forward but the life is being drained out of the home fans every other week.

Bournemouth were shite, massively lucky to come away with 3 points there. All they wanted to do was kill the game from the first minute. We lost that rather than they won it.

The funny thing about the subs is they were far earlier than he usually does them, he could easliy have held off for 5 minutes once they scored to see how the game panned out. We moan when he doesn't do them earlier then when he does he fucks it up. 😂

Please can the lads who really like him explain last night?

Not being snarky at all but previously people like @Bluedylan1 have made me not feel so frustrated with him by giving good explanations of his decisions.

Could do with some nuance before I finish my Moyes out duvet.

They weren’t great but it’s their set up and recruitment that’s much better than ours like I said in another thread their coach would have dibling bedded in doing well by now moyes just leaves him out because he has always had favourites in the squad Rohl alcaraz as well can’t get a game

We had maybe 4(?) chances first half to extend a 1-0 lead and kill the game last night and took none of them. Good teams take almost every opportunity, we very rarely do when we're on top.

The players drastically let him down. They only perked up when down to 10 and a goal down because they're more concerned about avoiding a bollocking than celebrating a win.

We were mostly all happy pre-game, especially compared with any other match, that that given B'mouth had the highest 'set pieces conceded' stats that Jake's/Tark's/Jarrod's height would help us. Given the result we forget this.

It was so so obviously going to be another game not killed off whilst in ascendency, given player complacency. No one to take it by the scruff.

Let's not buy into the narrative too much.

They had a 35m centre back on their bench, and a 29m keeper who's been an absolute joke any time I've seen him play. Tyler Adams is also injury prone making only about 50% of league games over the past 4 years.

23m Ben Doak has played less than an hour of footy this season, across 4 sub appearances. Milosavljević can barely get on the pitch.

Yes they've had some decent sales, but their current squad is poor.

People don’t take enough notice or other teams sometimes.

Bournemouth really haven’t been that great this season.

They were poor last night. Time wasting from the off, long balls going nowhere for large parts, and could have been four down by the 60th minute.

We just gifted them the win through players making terrible decisions and the manager not knowing how to react.

Even with a man more they completely sat off and offered nothing with the ball.

They were really negative. Their manager is very much flavour of the month but I’m sure does things the Bournemouth fans don’t like as well.
