Re: Today's Football 2025-26

Half an eye on Hull City's game tonight too. Would be interesting if they could close the gap to the top two.

Fuck it, forgot St Mirren v Hearts was on so I'm going to watch that, anything's better than Artera boring us to death.

Delap might be one of the few in the Chelsea squad whose value might decrease. Been pretty disappointing season for him so far.
Re: Today's Football 2025-26
Chelsea's tactic of leaving 3/4 players up front on corners last night, a worthwhile tactic against Arsenal or not? Obviously you do leave someone like Gabriel more space but given how many goals Arsenal score from them anyway then surely it makes sense to try something different than do the same as everyone else and suffer the same fate.

Conversely it should give the goalkeeper more space to come and claim the ball as wellShogun wrote: ↑Wed Feb 04, 2026 10:07 am Chelsea's tactic of leaving 3/4 players up front on corners last night, a worthwhile tactic against Arsenal or not? Re: Today's Football 2025-26
Funny how everything is going round in a big loop isn't it. Long throws etc and now we're back to the 90s with teams leaving players up field at corners as they've realised 20 players all surrounding a keeper is actually counter intuitive when defending.

Hes on 150k a week which is going to impact his value too because he doesn't appear to be worth anywhere near that
