Re: January Transfer Window
Tiny bit disappointed that he didn't join Forest, and drag them into further trouble, but beggars can't be choosers.
Strange footballer. Still got no real idea what he is, or what role he fulfills in a team.

I was surprised he's 26. I thought he was about 40.Bluedylan1 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 02, 2026 7:08 pm Tiny bit disappointed that he didn't join Forest, and drag them into further trouble, but beggars can't be choosers.

Andy Hunter says it's a loan with an obligation to buy for £20m.
Also says the deal sheet has gone in for Tyrique.

Re: January Transfer Window
Nothing better than having five months to decide if he’s worth £20m or more.Bluedylan1 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 02, 2026 7:13 pm Andy Hunter says it's a loan with an obligation to buy for £20m.

Re: January Transfer Window
Bizarre move for Palace, he's been a good signing for us but not sure what they think they are going to pull out of him?
Re: January Transfer Window
Got to be happy with that. £20m for McNeil is an outstanding bit of business.
Re: January Transfer Window
When does the transfer window slam shut, before we can add to our war chest?

Told my kid we'd agreed to sell McNeil for £20m and he said 'wow that's good business considering he's 32'
Not convinced he believed me when told him he's only 26.

That McNeil business is probably the best deal for an outgoing one we've done in a Jan window.

His role lately has been to take valuable minutes from an unconfident talented youngsterBluedylan1 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 02, 2026 7:08 pm Still got no real idea what he is, or what role he fulfills in a team.
