Today's Football 2025-26
Re: Today's Football 2025-26
Should have known it would go this way when I captained Rogers FPL. Looking forward to the Haaland hat trick later.

Slightly worried Man City are going to flub it again and Arsenal will get another big gap to the two below them.
Spurs have been a bit of a bogey team for them in recent years.

Just noticing Man Utd now within 5 points of Villa if these results hold. Chelsea a point behind Man Utd, Liverpool one more point behind Chelsea. Villa might start to be getting a bit worried about holding onto a CL place.

Ffs, they said 9 minutes so I thought I'll nip to the bog and then get a glass of juice came back and it's fucking 3-2!

It's a real real shame.Indiantoffee75 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 01, 2026 4:05 pm Yeah Villa wobbling.
Probably drop to 6th come the end of the season.

Re: Today's Football 2025-26
It says a lot about the quality of the league this year that villa are (through gritted teeth, deservedly) that high. They would be by some distance the weakest team to ever win the PL, and I include that Leicester year. They didn't score in 180 mins against us and were remarkably unimpressive but Emery has got a real tune out of them and they had that amazing home run for a while.
They aren't lucky because teams that have far greater resources (Chelsea, United, Lpool to name 3) have been absolutely abysmal for large parts of the season so far and Villa have taken their chances but in the period where City won those in a row getting high 90 to 100 points, this current Villa side are probably minimum 15 points adrift now and 20+ by end of season.
