Yeah.
No doubt about starting him based on his quality but he has to he eased in with this type of injury, especially as its hamstring, horrible niggly injuries that need to he managed well.
Jarrad Branthwaite
Re: Jarrad Branthwaite
I agree, but he came on at half time the other night so think he’s just going straight back in.
Re: Jarrad Branthwaite
I just think it's a big risk that we don't need to take. Managers in the past got slaughtered for bringing DCL back early from injuries and Branthwaite's missed more games since we signed him than DCL did over the same period.

Re: Jarrad Branthwaite
I think if we hadn't looked so poor in the first half and Moyes didn't need to adjust the formation to counter them then he stays on the bench

Re: Jarrad Branthwaite
Left back is a mad shout.
Will have to do way more sprinting, coming back from an injury, than he's ever done in his whole.
Left of a back 3 with Aznou LWB I would be interested in seeing though
Re: Jarrad Branthwaite
Moyes, 62, replaced Harrison Armstrong and Dwight McNeil at the break, bringing in two senior players only just off the treatment table.
Speaking afterwards, Moyes admitted: “My plan was not to use Jarrad as early [as this], or Kiernan, because Jarrad’s probably not played for eight months.
“And Kiernan could have probably played 45 minutes, but the idea was not to.
“So it wasn’t as if these boys on the bench could play, they couldn’t.
“But I thought they made a big difference when they came on.”
Re: Jarrad Branthwaite
I know I'm a fanboy but didn't really get the Armstrong sub that early. Hard to see how McNeil starts games again though even with the limited options.
