He's definitely got ability, it's the lack of urgency and apparent lack of effort that's the concern. Thought it was quite telling when he played the ball to Barry, he ran with the ball then back heeled it expecting Dibling to be following him but he was trotting along about 20 yards behind him, Barry fully expected him to have bust a gut to get there with him and he hadn't. These are the things that Moyes notices and why he isn't getting games.

Yeah that was quite a clear cut moment. My first thought when Barry back heeled it was WTF? But then I realised he would have expected Dibling to go with him. It was not a good look for him.

Still yet to take a player on. I've only seen him lose the ball when faced with a defender so far.

Give him time and he will shine!

Grealish was playing League 1 at his age, and Ndiaye was playing Sunday league.

He completed 4 out of 9 dribbles last night in his 19 minutes.

Very young age, probably not used to feeling this type of pressure / expectation, lacking confidence & and probably scared of making a mistake. Hopefully he’ll get there given time & support from the club

Thought so as well tbh. Couple of times he tried to beat a Leeds player and got easily dispossessed

Was getting doubled up on and trying to drive down the line or into the box.

Not many in the league are very successful at that.

Thought he had them worried without ever actually getting to the point of having achieved it really

Certainly not a cameo i feel negative about. At least Moyes is back to bringing him on.

Leeds felt the need to double up on him, they know hes a dangerous player. It just hasn't clicked for him yet but it will, hes very young.

Wouldn't say hea like Harrison at all, id actually say hes the complete opposite.

I agree, but 50/50 for me that one.

You don't give it away on the hope someone will be where you'd like/expect them to be.

Grealish with Myko as an example, Grealish knows he has to accommodate most (except KDH and sometimes Garner). He knows it's understood when players aren't where they should be but still keeps hold of the ball. He remonstrates/explains after the 'play' has finished.

Gana on the other hand at times has passed to where he thinks others should be, sometimes to the detriment of the team, just to prove a point.

Gana has some credit in the bank though, Barry hasn't earned that much yet. Just don't give it away for the sake of it.

Plus, we’ve been absolutely spoiled by Grealish having an insane success rate taking people on almost regardless of situation.

Not to mention Ndiaye being pretty handy himself.
