Tim Iroegbunam
Re: Tim Iroegbunam
Nah you're alright.
Interesting if there's truth in it though. Don't know what Lazio's standard of scouting is, but interesting if they've identified him as a target given his relatively low profile.

Re: Tim Iroegbunam
I didn't realize his contract was done end of next season, I guess he only arrived on a 3 year deal.
It's another one we should be sorting before the summer.

Re: Tim Iroegbunam
Just don't reckon he's that good really.
Got scope to improve but I'd rather give the minutes to Harrison Armstrong who looks a more rounded player and has a higher ceiling.
Just my opinion, don't think he'll go on to be anything that great. Take the money for me if they're serious.

Re: Tim Iroegbunam
He’s shown excellent promise as an 8 but has been diabolical as a 6. Gana was poor in the 6 during his first spell with us but has gotten significantly better over the years. Tim’s only 22 and many on here were calling Garner rubbish 2 seasons ago when he was 22. It would be absolutely nuts to sell him now for £10m when that only buys you 20 year old PSR Tim, who was poor, especially when the wages won’t be crazy.
Re: Tim Iroegbunam
I've been regularly reassured on here that spending 40m on "potential' that wasnt getting off the bench, was Everton being progressive snd playing the long game..
I presume selling another young asset, for less than we paid, while he shows signicant 1st team development is similarly strategic.

Re: Tim Iroegbunam
7m would be laughable. Birmingham spent more than that on a player when they were in league 1.
For me hes the 1 (maybe armstrong excluded) whos actually shown the highest potential. Inconsistent but also had premier league games where hes 1 of the best on the pitch and hes fun to watch too. We should be sorting him out a new contract not selling him cheap

Re: Tim Iroegbunam
Yeah wouldn't take the money but don't rate him highly either. £20m and it is a serious consideration but with the way the market is then he's worth a lot more than they're offering. We signed Beto for £25m
Re: Tim Iroegbunam
Yeah he's improved recently, but i just don't ever see him as a first choice midfielder for us. Or for any team with serious ambitions.
If we do want to gradually improve, i would be very happy for us to be playing Armstrong, sell Tim and use the money to buy some fullbacks to improve the team.

Re: Tim Iroegbunam
Tim and Armstrong are completely different midfielders.
It’s not a case of selling tim to give Armstrong more minutes.
We’ll have to replace him as at the minute he’s the best ball winner and ball carrier in the squad.
He’s got huge potential and any fee we get for him, if we do sell, needs to reflect that.
Come to the table with £30m upfront then we’ll start talking.
