24 mins in, came to poat the same. Has dominated so far. His touch off the thigh to play Röhl in was nice too.

You know it's a good day when you see that Barry smile! So happy for him.

Thought his all round game was much better yesterday. Much more considered with where he was flicking it on to. Some nice link play. He appears to be a quality finisher too.

I like to bitch about him but yesterday was a day even I could see his potential.

The look on his face when he scored was waiting for an offside or VAR. Then, the smile

I’m one of his biggest knockers and only fair to say there’s been an improvement, and I’m happy to be wrong, but still hasn’t convinced me that he’ll be a success long term, but I hope I’m totally wrong.

That performance was even more impressive coming off the back of the stupid penalty miss last week.

His head could have easily completely went after that.

I think he showed great intelligence to lift the ball that high over Martinez... How often does he get beaten in those situations? Not often, because he's big and often saves anything lifted. Felt like Barry knew this and made sure he got extra height to ensure it beat him. With his weaker foot too which makes it all the more impressive.

I can't remember who in the Manchester derby tried to lift it over Donnaruma in a similar situation, but they didn't get as much height and the keeper saved it.

Just a great finish imo!

Yes a lot of strikers in that position are keeping their heads down and blasting it into the,'keeper's body.
Very encouraging that despite the slow start in terms of goals he is still confident enough to rely on his finishing skills.

Like how Moyes has handled him you know, he's challenging the lad to get better, openly has said that he's got loads to improve and needs time and keeps challenging him. He's clearly responded to that well.
