Do you know what I love about James? His feet. He has lovely dainty feet.

I don't like big feet, they remind me of gammon.

I still hold my opinion at the moment.

He’s had games like the other night before then reverted to type.

Can’t fault him and the improvement in his game this season and we need to get that contract sorted asap, but still not having him as a particularly good midfielder but that could very well change.

He's still relatively young, only 24, so will get better with experience. Without the handicap of playing in a Dyche side he has progressed this season so it's reasonable to assume this will continue, now he is playing in a team which seems to be a level above what we saw previously.

He's a good squad player who can blast out a motm performance every now and again. Does most things quite well.

The type of player every squad needs. If he played for a top team he'd kind of be like what KDH was for Chelsea. Comes in and almost always does a decent job.

New contract, one thinks.

I think the Armstrong in midfield and Garner at RB experiment is coming - Brentford or Wolves.

Can't see Moyes moving Garner after that display, not in a million years.

Probably preserve with Patterson before moving Garner out of a position he got a goal, assist and MOM.

His best game for us came when we got no possession and he got 45 touches, his second fewest of the season you say.

Hmmm. Interesting.

Brilliant in these sort of games. He was the same at Forest. When we're at home and need someone to take the game on, he doesn't seem capable of doing it.

Great performance. Believe he was given MOTM by Sutton

Yep very good today, lucky the ref didn't spot his push though as he'd have been off for a second yellow... Probably deserved that luck based on his contribution and effort tbf

Great at winning the ball.

Poor at moving it.

Good for him that the off the ball stuff has come on massively.

Great today, will most probably be poor on Monday night against Leeds but then again, so will the whole team.

MOTM again.

Still doesn’t get the credit he deserves from some quarters.

Sad.
