Re: James Garner
Massively improved player from the one under Dyche and Lampard.
He's played both FB positions this season and bossed it in the middle.
Credit where it's due, massively improved player.

Re: James Garner
Is James Garner a better player than I thought? He was exceptional tonight and he has pulled these performances out before..
Re: James Garner
Don't know if going up against Anderson fired him up at all, but that was an immense performance. As good a CM performance as you'll see all seazob
Re: James Garner
Have to say feeling very wrong about him.
Continues to improve, also seems to take responsibility and go up a level when players are missing which is always a good sign.
I still wonder where his ceiling is but he is so consistent, rarely has a bad game and now putting in a few more excellent performances.
Brilliant tonight of course.

Re: James Garner
Brap was never his most vitriolic critic, there were two even today that have persistently been calling him Kopite scum get rid, hopefully that’s the end of those calls.
Re: James Garner
That was a top class performance tonight, and it isn’t a one off. He has been getting better throughout the season from an already decent level.
I am sure the stats will tell you all the good stuff but it’s on the eye that he has improved and is making the harder parts of the game look easier.
Tim is and was a great foil for him. I don’t really know why but they work well in tandem.
He outshone Anderson tonight because he was willing to make forward runs and be combative in the tackle and in riskier areas. I like Anderson but he is a sitter and is limited going forward.
