Re: January Transfer Window
Given KDHs hamstring injury, Garner one booking away from a suspension and Rohl only coming back to fitness, what are we thinking, does the approach to the Jan window need reviewing by the club?
Strategy change in having one or two lined up to come in on 1st Jan given that it's a huge week with three home games in 7 days and we're paper thin in midfield.

Re: January Transfer Window
Looks like a cross between Iliman Ndiaye and @Toddacelli's Yaya Toure / Patrick Viera.
Not to big him up too much....

Re: January Transfer Window
I think we’d be crazy not to recall Armstrong if KDH is out for a while. Preferably 1st January.

Yeah think we'll have no choice... Bare bones is an understatement.Bluebridge wrote: ↑Sun Dec 14, 2025 6:59 am I think we’d be crazy not to recall Armstrong if KDH is out for a while. Preferably 1st January.
Also if he does well it sets him up for being a starter next season so could be a good all round

Re: January Transfer Window
We’ll get passable right back on loan like the lad from Brazil or a veteran for a low transfer fee like Coufal and probably nothing else.
Honestly between a RB and bringing back Armstrong we’ll be fine for mid table.
No point buying a LB until we make a decision on Aznou - it would take twenty five million plus in today’s market to get a player noticeably better than Mykolenko.
We might get a striker if somebody comes in for Beto and we recoup some funds but at this point I think we’re better off sticking with Barry until the end of the season as he needs minutes

For all the issues we have at right back, it’s the left side teams seem to be targeting constantly.
I think there’s championship left backs that would come in and be better from the off than mykolenko.

Re: January Transfer Window
I think Beto will be gone in January, he was ready to go last season until his purple patch convinced Moyes to start him, the fact he’s sat watching Bambi, sorry Barry, starting in front of him will only convince him his time is up.StirlingBlue wrote: ↑Sun Dec 14, 2025 8:54 am We’ll get passable right back on loan like the lad from Brazil or a veteran for a low transfer fee like Coufal and probably nothing else.

As for Barry needing more minutes, it’s months and months he needs, and at best he’ll score about three more goals.
Perhaps Aznou gets a run on the left wing if Jack is injured.
