Having teams like Uzbekistan, Jordan, Curaçao, Cape Verde and Haiti etc. is great. Really hoping New Caledonia can get through too.

Yeah, they'll likely be outclassed but it'll push football on light years in their respective countries and give them and other similar countries huge exposure and a belief that they can make it to a tournament that has always previously been closed off to them.

Well into the teams that field part-time players. Imagine finishing your shift at the factory then heading off for a week to play against some of the best players on the planet.

Seems weird there being no Nigeria or Cameroon there. Nigeria qualify for every World Cup and are in the same group as Argentina aren’t they?!

Also given some of the tiny nations there this time, makes it even sadder for the part of me that is Chinese (39.8% according to MyHeritageDNA) that China didn’t qualify

I’ll have to work my way down the ladder to support someone else

Republic of Ireland (23%)
Scottish and Welsh (12.2% - Mum says its Welsh rather than Scottish)
England (4.2%)
France (1.5%)
Sweden (1.4%)

These are the other qualified countries that are in my DNA , though 3 of them are only in the play offs

That group I looks intriguing with France, Senegal and Norway +1.

Scotland's first game is a 2am kick off.

England's KO times are all good for watching.
