Liverpool being bellends

I can't believe they ever wanted him. Never rated him in the slightest.

Re: Liverpool being bellends
Was amusing listening to their fans calling on to Talksport yesterday. Basically saying unless things get catastrophic they want to stick with Slot... Given the amount of games they've lost I don't know what they think catastrophic means but surely it's close to being that.
They were saying 'title is probably gone'... Yeah no shit, if things continue they're going to struggle to stay up.
Can't remember which former footballer was saying 'a good manager doesn't become bad overnight', and 'it's only a few months since they lifted the title'. Well anyone with any knowledge would know what happened with us with Martinez after Moyes. Some managers just inherit a very good base and it takes a year before what they add turns very sour.
Given the squad they've got it's not hard to imagine a change in manager would see a very quick uptick in form. So fingers crossed they stick with him for as long as possible

They'll probably find a route to win now without him.
Hopefully West Ham come out the traps quickly.

Re: Liverpool being bellends
I've noticed something a bit weird and quite concerning over the last 2 months.
The reds in work suddenly don't seem to want to talk about football? Last season they couldn't wait to come up and discuss the weekend footy but this season I can't remember the last time one approached me.
Does anyone know why? I think they're all having internet problems as well because I haven't seen much over WhatsApp, etc.
Bizarre.

Don’t be victimizing them! They’re all in mourning…Shogun wrote: ↑Fri Dec 05, 2025 9:59 am I've noticed something a bit weird and quite concerning over the last 2 months.

Re: Liverpool being bellends
"I can’t believe it, I’m very disappointed. I’ve done so much for this club — everyone can see that over the years, especially last season. Sitting on the bench, I don’t know why. I feel like the club is throwing me under the bus. That’s how I feel,” says Salah.
“I’ve said many times before that I have a good relationship with the manager, and suddenly we have no relationship — I don’t know why,” he continues.
The Egyptian is clear that he needs more playing time going forward.
“It’s not acceptable for me, to be honest. I don’t know why it always happens to me. ‘We’re throwing Mo under the bus,’ because he’s the problem. I don’t think I’m the problem,” he says about being dropped.
Liverpool’s next Premier League match is at home against Brighton. After that, Salah will travel to Africa to play in the Africa Cup of Nations for Egypt.
“I called my mother yesterday, you didn’t know that I wasn’t going to start today — I knew that. I said come to the Brighton game, it doesn’t matter if I play or not, I’ll enjoy it. We’ll see what happens; in my mind I’m going to enjoy it anyway, because I don’t know what will happen regardless. The match will be at Anfield, so it will be my farewell before I leave for AFCON,” says Salah.
