That's an absolute joke, he's not even playing for us because his injury record is so bad. Should have long retired from international football.

What an absolute waste of money giving him a new contract. Sentimental pish.

I’m actually really surprised he’s not started one or two games or even had more minutes from off the bench.

Maybe he was kept on as a Mr Motivator figure.

Remember we also tried to get 40yr old Ashley Young to stay at the club so it suggests we knew that right back would be a struggle to recruit for.

Weird that hes not playing at all. What's the fucking point. We are more than a bit embarrassing.

I says a lot about our summer when we have two right backs and they're third and fourth choice for the position.

Both Grealish and N'diaye have two men on them whenever the ball is near them.

Anything like an overlapping fullback and there are 3 out there and even more space in the middle (for our strikers to completely fuck up)

I love him but fucking hell, I'm still more annoyed about this than Ganagate! 😂

If he was a horse he'd be dog food by now. How can you play two back to back games for Ireland then ping a hammy 5 minutes into your first league start since you last walked off injured at Goodison..

You could tell he was devastated when he came off.

He's probably thinking the same himself.

Yeah, he was gutted, probably did his other hammy booting that bottle.

He's nothing to prove but giving the contract's looking a poor call, doesn't get games even when the RB is getting subed then breaks down as soon as he starts a game. Bit of a sad end really

He's just terribly unlucky, with us, at the moment.

I think that's the problem, no games for months then 3 in 8 days. Silly decision to start him.

Silly decision to keep playing for Ireland at his age and with his injury record in my opinion.

Both things are true.
