Sheffield Weds, Reading, Blackburn, etc. It's only a year an a half ago since 777’s efforts to buy us fell through, but it already feels like a generational sliding doors moment.

Certainly does look a sliding doors moment
The co-founder of investment firm 777 Partners - which made an unsuccessful bid to buy Premier League club Everton - has been charged with defrauding lenders and investors of more than $500 million (£372m).

I still think Moshiri was stringing them along, they were never going to take over us.

Yeah, it's more likely they were stringing Moshiri along while knowing deep down they were never going to have the funding.

Didn’t Moshiri (Usmanov) rinse them of some cash while Usmanovs assets were frozen? The timing was pretty suss.

We would have been in administration without them pumping 30 mil a month into us for like 8 months.

Roma joint top of Serie A, I hope we can follow a similar trajectory over the next few years.
