It can be a long long way back after those sorts of major injuries. Even if the knee is ok, after being out that long you probably have to strengthen all the other supporting muscles back up that have atrophied a bit otherwise I imagine it'd be quite easy to keep having issues.

So maybe not done yet, but if by the end of the season he's still breaking down, then sadly for him maybe yeah.
