And Wessells, so actually 3 in total.

I had to check whether Mustafi definitely played a game for us and it was just the 1 in Europe.

Wessels? I don't think Mustafi ever made a first team appearance.

Nice to hear lots of positive stuff coming out of the early training sessions rather than some of the ''he looks like he's never kicked a football before'' stuff that we've had in the past with new signings.

Only a handful of appearances for them too. Mad that that’s it. GET MORE 😈

Looked nice and assured today for his debut.

Really liked his off ball movement - came looking for the ball off of the centre backs which is a massive positive. Also has a bit of bite to him in the air and also in the tackle.

Was maybe the highlight of the day for me. A couple of mistakes, a rush of blood for the shot from distance...but that's nitpicking.

Some nice touches, the spin in the box was great and the through ball to Barry shows his vision too. Liked his recovery speed too, seemed tenacious too when trying to win the ball back.

Anyhow, nice cameo.

Other than the Gana-esque attempt into the upper south he looked good.

I think the biggest compliment is that it feels like he’s already been here a while. Easily slotted in.

Looks really comfortable out there. One of those players that makes it look easy I reckon. Think he'll be starting instead of Tim very soon.

Yeah, he looked like he belonged.

From what I understand, everything about this move hinges on his continuing fitness.

He’s a big talent with a questionable injury record. His former club couldn’t rely on him the way they needed to because of this.

If we can keep him fit, he might well look like a steal.

Could see there was a player there straight away. Got caught being a bit slow a couple of times but that's absolutely to be expected.

Had a few good touches, and I really liked his movement off the ball. Seemed like he really had an eye for picking out pockets of space to receive the ball in, so hopefully the rest of the team adapt to that and can find him.
