It’s really strange that there’s not even a whiff of a rumour for who we’re after and we obviously wouldn’t loan Patterson without someone coming in. Not even a made up one. Juanlu Sanchez is going to Napoli by all accounts so that’s a non starter. I’d be made up if we pulled it off but doesn’t seem likely.

I reckon we have a couple of options lined up who could do a job but aren’t necessarily what we want. But I agree think Juanlu would be first choice. He preferred Napoli but they’re fannying about by the looks and things change quickly. We suddenly look a better option than we did a week or 2 ago.
