It'll be due to his contract, hand in a transfer request and you'll sacrifice a lot financially, however Newcastle probably didn't add on a "act like a bellend" clause that does the same.

The thing is, if Newcastle refuse to budge and insist that he's staying, he won't have any options and he'll probably be back playing in the team by September with a full apology to the fans in a World Cup year.
