And the strobe effect at the start and middle of the advert for season tickets for the women's team. Epilepsy inducing.

A brilliant location. The vibe round there was great and credit to all the people working in the bars as they were putting everything into it.
Was quite a few places popping up that I didn’t know about so there’s a decent amount of choice for a drink round there. Although when it got to one o’clock it was a nightmare to get served anywhere. I think over time it will ease as a lot of people will start in town.
We went to the plaza at around half past. Great atmosphere there but the queues for a drink were ridiculous. Need to get more bars.
South stand concourse is incredible. So many bars so you don’t have to queue up long, but they did run out of ale at the end of the game.
Biggest issue is the toilets. How have they made them smaller than Goodison? The queues again, we’re so long.
It’s going to take a while to get used to it and to make it feel like our ground but we will get there.
Sandhills wasn’t an issue for me but I got there early on and left late on. Can barely remember getting the train home what am I like lol.
The toilets were my first thought after the second test event. Bonkers decision.

The red from the bid adverts were fucking horrible. Bin that ffs.
And also like mentioned, the flash of light before one advert was not good at all.
I was very impressed that we had a BSL interpreter on screen for the pre match chats.
But the guy who does that is really fucking annoying.

Couldn’t use Bud Light for the adverts? At least its blue.

Re: New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock
After going to the metlife then to this game, its hard not to compare the concourse area, toilets and use of the sourrounding space, and we don't compare well on some fronts.
Lots to love and like about the stadium, especially when watching the game, I love my seat, but they've not learned lessons from other stadiums about those spaces.
Some of the issues might be softened when things run better, but you'd have thought they'd have avoided some of the same problems we saw at goodison and they haven't in some ways.

From the family stand in the North West corner. I was on the back row backing on to what I think might be the commentary box?or some sort of media/corporate area
Was delighted with the view

Re: New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock
There is somewhere outside the stadium, couldn't remember where but it said "This bud is blue"
They've acknowledged the redness in it but they do need to sort it out.

I am doing my dissertation on transport to and from the Hill Dickinson Stadium. If you attended the test match against Roma, I would be very grateful if you could answer a few questions on your transport experience.

So what exactly are those issues you talk of ?UnsyisaRhino wrote: ↑Sun Aug 10, 2025 2:29 pm After going to the metlife then to this game, its hard not to compare the concourse area, toilets and use of the sourrounding space, and we don't compare well on some fronts.

Re: New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock
Two moans from me, caveat - I wasn't there and probably won't be for the near future.
1. South stand lower looks terrible, the safe standing seating and rails make it look half empty, not the swarming mass of bodies we know and love.
2. WiFi in the ground is a horrible move and should be reversed immediately.
