Mad how small things can make such a difference. Receive the ball and spin instead of slowly turning and passing backwards. Turn in a tight space and open up the pitch instead of having the opposition in your face limiting your options. We’ve been starved of this type of player for a long time. Mainly because we’ve had 10 years of idiots buying awful players.

The drop off when he went off along with Gana was telling.

Did great I thought.

I think he'll raise the level on the team on the ball. Really good signing.

Or they'll drag him down to their level, hopefully not.

KDH, Ndiaye, Gana, Alcaraz and even Garner/Barry all looked much better when playing the ball into each others feet, actually controlling it and then showing for other passes.

That was the most promising thing for me yesterday

He'll make a huge difference.

Get one more in alongside him and hopefully we don't see any of Garner or Tim.

For a split second I was licking my lips about Gareth Barry playing alongside Gana and KDH. Hangover brain 🧠

Seeing him line up alongside a similarly-statured Gnonto, QPR flashback meme...

I think he might be crap. Bit of a nothing player. Weak as piss. Got bullied

30 million. It'll be a big shock if he justifies that fee.
