The Rebuild
Re: The Rebuild
How does a team for both Dibling and Grealish in?
Would it be grealish left, ndiaye in the middle, Dibling on the right?
I think ndiaye is definitely getting played off the frontman next season.

That's the type of anecdote I'm here for.sam of the south wrote: ↑Wed Aug 06, 2025 12:19 pm I’m well, bro, how are you?
In 1987, we had a popstar fancy dress leavers party at my small, proper rough catholic primary school.
I went as Prince.
I was even subtly “browned up”, which astounds me looking back, particularly from my left-wing, politically active parents (cnd protests, greenpeace stuff, free mandela marches, collections in the south for the miners strike, to name a few)
Anyway, they got us all to do karaoke performances, as well.
I was 10, and I wasn’t that au fait with the material of the diminutive sexbomb, so with two of my mates who were inexplicably dressed in waistcoats, we knocked out a moving rendition of snooker loopy.
I won best dressed and best song.
The point being, never give up on your dreams![]()

This post has made me both nostalgic and sad that we'll never witness a Prince, Chas & Dave crossover.sam of the south wrote: ↑Wed Aug 06, 2025 12:19 pm I’m well, bro, how are you?

Re: The Rebuild
I would have Grealish as the ten as unlike Ndaiye he's got that vision and ability to play defense splitting passes. He also drops back in to a midfield three better when we need to do that.
Absolutely sick of the support striker system where someone's basically playing just off the striker, offers no slide rule passes to a striker and leaves us with a double pivot in midfield. It's an antiquated way of setting up and means you never really control the game.

Re: The Rebuild
It's all starting to look a lot better isn't it? Reckon a right back and a winger in and we've got the shapings of a really solid 11. Room for more mind
Re: The Rebuild
Yeah we still need squad depth but sorting the right side as well as the KDH signing would see us thinking we have a starting eleven capable of looking very much upward rather than down.
