I thought he was decent going forward against Ipswich in terms of playing the ball well and getting into decent positions, but that’s obviously compared to our other full back options recently. He was poor defensively though and that’s got to be the minimum if you aren’t providing a lot going forward. I don’t blame him for the goal though because it happens all the time and teams re-organise to cover a downed player.

I think it’s been evident for a while even in his brief cameos that he’s not up to the standard required. If the coaching staff think he’ll get there then we can keep him here and work with him but a loan move at least is probably best. We need a starting RB either way though. Top priority

Italy would be great considering how well recent Scottish players have done and adapted over there

Rather keep him at least for this season.

Solid enough back up.

Moyes comments were pretty full on after the game. He might not have realized 2 goals were from Pattos errors but if he did was pretty damning. Add to that his injury record if we can replace him with someone good and cheap or someone that can play 2 positions well then it’s a no brainer. Will be added to the Long long list of players I really wanted to succeed for us

Surely it’s only going to be a loan with an option to buy at best… nobody is spending actual money to purchase him

Is he a little overweight?

(Overweight in professional footballer terms)
