Did they ever say it guaranteed a ticket?
Wasn’t it billed as priority?
Don't think they ever said it was guaranteed ticket, I just assumed it would work the same as having a membership always has previously i.e. first come first served. Suppose it's my own fault for assuming. I should've actually read the terms.
Will this new approach to ticketing prevent arseholes reselling tickets for extortionate prices on resale platforms?
It just puts you in a better position to get a ticket after season tickets are dished out. I decided it was my only way of getting one that isn't a dull cup game
Demand will obviously far outstrip supply so you need some sort of system and a ballot is fine but not being able to select your seats is a shite solution and there also does need to be some tweaking of the ballot protocol because on a completely random system, you could have a plus membership, apply for all 19 games and not get any. That surely can't be allowed to happen.
* I still have the same issue about applying and failing 19 times but I've answered one of my questions about picking my own seats. If I want to take my 5 year old daughter (also a plus member), I have to apply for two together so if we got through the ballot, the available seats went on sale and I can't log on for hours due to work, I could be left with single seats only to pick from and that wouldn't work so I've answered my own question and now understand that idea.
A totally random ballot I am still not comfortable with though. One plus member could get 19 tickets and another could get none despite applying the same number of times in the same window and that still feels very wrong. Failed ballot entries should move your priority up for next game and it shouldn't be beyond the wit of tech people to sort that
In a world full of adversity, we must still dare to dream.

That’s a very good point about failed ballot entries should move up into a priority section for the next ballot, shouldn’t be beyond the realms of possibility to do something like that.
Got in the ballot easily enough, though there now seems to be a queue. Naturally everyone wanting to get used to it on the first go, but with the deadline Tuesday 4pm then I'm sure that will change. They seem a bit vague on the pricing, the page I looked at from the ballot had ranges for each stand rather than anything specific. I think the highest was £72 but might be wrong on that.

Yeah no idea how much seats are......
Just know i've had to pay £2 to choose a stand preference.

Mad there's already a ballot and I've not had any word on my season tickets yet
Same here, heard nothing, when I logged into my account this morning it appears that I have “purchased” my seat for the Roma game free of charge on the 26th June, I had no idea they were doing this and can’t go anyway.

Yeah I've got this on my account too but can't go.
I did speak to someone a week or so ago about an issue I had and she said that season ticket info would be sent soon, so hopefully not long to wait

So it’s a bit mad that ST holders that can’t go have been allocated tickets which you can’t put on re sale platform because they are free of charge ?
Yeah if that's what's happened it's not great, I never could have gone but thought i had to do something if I wanted my seat and it would be resold if I didn't.
I couldn't work out junior prices. I put family area for first choice (kids £9-£13 which is phenomenal to be fair) but quite what I'll be paying if we were successful but get allocated somewhere else (obviously apart from the rail seating where it's age 14 minimum), I don't know.
The article gives over 65 prices at the bottom but not juniors (other than the family area).
