Blew the entire budget on the stadium. Had to get a discount IT guy.Toddacelli wrote: ↑Tue Jul 08, 2025 11:17 am It wouldn’t accept an email address yesterday. Was going to go select a membership to get a chance to see the Roma game but couldn’t enter details. Why are the sites always crap?

Re: New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock
Are they going to finish the word stadium ? It’s been like that (STA) for a couple of weeks now ?
Re: New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock
So it is ! If yo watch the video at 34 to 38 seconds it’s just STA, I must have looked away when it appeared as stadium at 40 seconds.

Love it! Can be doing proper business. Big boxing nights, big concert nights, A-list comedians, other sporting events etc. - fantastic! Hopefully gives a platform to be more progressive for more arts, community and cultural events in the smaller fanzone areas too.Trowel wrote: ↑Sun Jul 13, 2025 12:47 pm Application in for live music and boxing/fighting events

The Ashes RL test in November will be a great advert hopefully. Has sold out and if all goes smoothly, prime position for more events. Big city location, not in, but easily travellable from the RL heartlands.Toddacelli wrote: ↑Sun Jul 13, 2025 4:49 pm Love it! Can be doing proper business. In a world full of adversity, we must still dare to dream.

It’s a good job the councils got reliable effective transport links boxed off!CannockPricey wrote: ↑Sun Jul 13, 2025 6:23 pm The Ashes RL test in November will be a great advert hopefully. Re: New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock
How many events can we really have there though? Seems like they can really only occur in late may through mid July when you consider the pitch.
Re: New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock
£7 quid in an Uber from Lime St., cheaper than public transport.
Re: New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock
Genuine question:
Have you tried to get a Uber from Goodison after the match before?
A Goodison with multiple exit vectors and a large chunk of the crowd able to simply walk home?
I know you are just trying to be positive and bring a bit of balance to what you see as relentless negativity. But the roads around there are simply incapable of handling what is about to hit it.
Sorting out sandhills, reinstating something like the overhead and water taxis were the only way to fix this upcoming disaster (all three of those options were in the early Liverpool Waters master plan by the way).
Give the club credit, the ability to serve alcohol in the ground after the game is a masterstroke and will actually solve a big portion of this problem. But we're still looking at chaos here. (Especially after night games when people won't be able to wait around with kids)
