Forget transfer fee, I’m hoping we don’t waste a domestic loan spot on him.

I think Harrison is so far down our list that there'd have to be a very odd succession of events for us to sign him permanently.

I could see a world where we take him on loan again as a general squad option, but given they'd want a few this time I still think it's extremely unlikely.

Just a no all round on Harrison for me.

I think we’re all generally agreed where the priorities are but it comes down to what deals can progress rather than go at it one transfer at a time, unless we’re paying top wack, which is basically how we landed Barry. I think RW is where we should be paying the largest fee. Someone solid at RB and DM, a good quality young CM, and a kid/free at LB. Some sort of goalie too.

RW
CM
RB and DM
LB
GK

In order of cost. Obviously if we can get Kubo for £20m or a generational talent falls into our lap then happy days.

Mcatee for max 20m with a sell on % I think is good business. I have seen him play but not loads but I’d put him somewhere between Ward-Prowse and Maddison. We don’t have a player like that and one would be good at this point. He’s only young so might improve a lot and probably get our money back if it doesn’t work out.

Harrison I’d be happy with for less than 5m and low wages. We’re not buying 3 wingers to pad out the squad as we currently have 1 who isn’t electric. Jack and a marquee RW and he can cover the tired legs. Even if we bought 2 other wingers then at least one is unlikely to be ready to play a significant amount of minutes. Sensible business.

Wonder how much we will get for Onyango

Can't see it being a lot.

Joyce saying we’ve discussed - Wesley, Kubo, Palhinha, Douglas Luiz and John McGinn

Joao Palhinha is a new one - he was quality at Fulham, I’m presuming it hasn’t worked out at Bayern

Nice to see someone more reputable dropping those names.

Luiz and Kubo would be my choice.

Pretty much any solid right back. Gutted Tete never got done.

Personally think that ones been and gone.

I'd imagine it's who we would have looked for had Gueye not signed.

Just my opinion. He's not someone we need anymore.

Would have been solid 5 years ago but we shouldn’t be looking at him unless he’s on a free or something.

Palhinha would be amazing. Proper defensive midfielder, would compliment Gueye perfectly as the sitter whilst Gana plays the ball winning / box to box role.

Age profile would be the only issue although I feel like Palhinha is one of those who will go on to play comfortably in to their midfield thirties without any issues.

Yeah, players like Palinhia naturally go on a lot longer as pace isn't massively key to where they play.

Be happy with either him or Luiz.
