Whilst I love the new stadium, it does feel a bit neat, and something to disrupt the silhouette and draw the eye in the same way the G O O D I S O N letters did would be transformative, imo.
But hey, that’s why Meis does what he does and I do what I do!
looks ok to me - finishing touches make all the difference
ps
better than looking at the old worn cladding on the right hand side at he goodison main stand
It just looks cheap and ill fitting when the rest of the stadium is so new and modern, if it was a cover over the the whole tunnel that retracted remotely it would be fine, looking at that to me is like having the TV volume on an odd number, it makes me uncomfortable.
And while the Arsenal tunnel, as an example, fits snuggly into the space, ours is clearly a generic off-the-shelf tunnel as it were - just look at the arched frame at the back against the square concrete tunnel. It's clearly a poorly executed afterthought.

Not sure what you mean about square tunnel but when fully extended looks tight enough to me. Anyway, not going to get bent out of shape about a bit of kit that is literaly visible for a minute as the players run out/in then disappears.

I think it looks fine tbh, and I moan as much as anyone these days. Will look better once there's loads of people around it.
Hang on, I'm not falling for that one again, people said the same about the single tier stand.
