Wouldn't surprise me if he chose a different career path, or even no career altogether. He wouldn't need to work, but you could see him getting into another line of work or culture and doing just fine.

When it comes to character, genuinely good humans, there appear few in the modern game that surpass him. Good luck Dom.

Bunch of fucking idiots then. He would definitely add something to all three on a free

Wonder how he'd get on at Brighton with Joao Pedro leaving?

He'd probably have to learn to be a footballer.

I'm very sad to see him go. A genuine nice guy, a superb athlete and on his day a wonderful footballer. Sadly, his on days where reduced by an awful run of injuries combined with an awful run of managers. I wish him nothing but the best, he deserves some good fortune.

My sentiments exactly. When fit a superb footballer. His potential deserved better than the clown show of a club we've been over the past few season. Hope he goes to Italy or Spain and has a lovely time.

Unfulfilled potential imo,, but seems a thoroughly decent bloke and I never doubted his willingness to be better, just never managed it post Carlo.

Wish him all the best.

One of my biggest annoyances in football there. Using words like servant and service when referring to footballers who earn £100k+ per week.

Makes it sound like he turned away lots of offers to stay here too when there wasn't any.

I'd be gobsmacked if no club had ever sounded him out during his time here

I wouldn't be and even if they had no one took it further and bid for him as far as I remember.
