Repeating the absolute falsehood that there was or is any threat whatsoever to him or any other member of the boards safety at Goodison Park, including the supposed headlock.
The board painted the fans as murderous thugs because it helped take attention off the dangerously poor job they had done for decades. An unforgivable crime.

Re: The Friedkin Group
Absolutely baffles me that nothing came of the lies about putting DBB in a fucking headlock....and that nothing was said in regards to it being a blatant fucking lie.
Disgraceful.
Disgraceful.
Re: The Friedkin Group
Just watched the interview - comes over very very well, and seems to understand a lot more of the required structure and having the right people in the right places!!
Certainly looking forward to having a professional operation and not just random people in jobs they aren’t suitable for
Future looking very very bright

Re: The Friedkin Group
It feels like leaving our home is the end of our emotional bonds because the future is business and that has no emotion. If we want success, European nights and possibly trophies, we need to step across that line. The new name is the new Everton
Re: The Friedkin Group
Can’t agree, my emotional bonds are with club, not the owners. I can agree or disagree with the direction different owners take us but they are not the club. I feel more comfortable in the hands of owners who seem to know what they are doing than Moshiri, who appeared not to have a clue. Everton under Moshiri at Goodison or under Friedkin at BMD, it’s still Everton.Paddockoldie wrote: ↑Sat May 17, 2025 8:24 am It feels like leaving our home is the end of our emotional bonds because the future is business and that has no emotion. Looks like they might be taking Gasperini from Atalanta, which would be a huge coup for them.

Re: The Friedkin Group
An ultra attacking, excellent manager who's been overachieving for a long time. Regularly finishing in CL and often above Roma, so it's a real coup if they get him.
Re: The Friedkin Group
I’m surprised Gasperini hasn’t bagged a bigger job already but he clearly likes the working environment at Atalanta.
Would be a huge get for Roma.
