Re: Dyche Watch

I half expect him to be Spurs manager before the season is over.

Comments still hold up. He'd be the most Beattie-esque signing since, well, James Beattie. If anything it should only be a loan.

Re: Dyche Watch

Sacked. Would love them to go down. However, that'd likely mean West Ham stays up.

Re: Dwight McNeil

Shame the deal didn’t come off for either of us. His partner sounds lovely though, so I’m sure he’ll get over it quicker than us!

Re: Tyler Dibling

Pretty sure I saw KDH have a fairly big go at him on a couple of occasions. Think he's as frustrated as we are with him at times. Hard to really judge anything on his cameo though, some good, some bad, about what you'd expect an out of form and low confidence youngster. Out of form and low confiden...

Re: Scouting/recruitment

The one I’m most worried about is Dibling and that’s more to do with his demeanour - he seems totally disinterested and isn’t putting much effort in at the moment but that could be down to being a bit overwhelmed by everything (fee, moving to a big club, expectations, etc. etc.) due to his age. Als...

Re: January Transfer Window

Fans don’t work like that. If we qualified we’d all be kicking off if we didn’t put out a full strength team all of the time. If we qualified we’d be in the same position as Forest or Palace, which I think would negatively impact us in the long run.

We aren’t ready for Europe. This season is all about getting people experienced and building for the future.

Re: Rate the Toffee - #1 Ross Barkley

It's a 6 from me Shogs. I really liked Rosco, but he frustrated me so much as I liked him as he seemed capable of so much more. I think he's one of those who was great playing off instinct but got in his own head too often and ended up making poor choices. This is the goal that comes to mind when I...

Re: Thierno Barry

I like him, and think there is more to his game than goals. That touch when he took a long ball down, the backheel and general interlinking and smart runs, for example. That said, it feels like he is on borrowed time. I would persist, but I fear that it is more likely that we get a loan in, in Janua...

Such fine margins, if Jack didn’t get that goal (from a massive deflection), then we would all be in here complaining that he didn’t change it sooner.
