Re: James Garner
i'm not in denial at all simple facts that can be researched..which i have done...i never stated "we were in good financial health" The comments were "As the club put itself on the verge of complete financial collapse"...which it actually didn't as the running costs were being me...

Re: James Garner
We were literally taking payday loans just to cover day to day costs off a bunch of cowboys who pretended they had the funds to buy us. I can understand why your saying that TBH as that was the impression being printed by the press and rumour mongers when the actual fact was 777 loans/s were actual...

Re: James Garner
I agree but it wasn’t about money at that time it was about not being able to play in Europe so players left and went to friggin rangers and the like…..Howard was also leaving…so the basic core of the team was broken up….however we were still spending big money for the time on players….

I’m not arsed about wages nowt you can do about it…..it’s quality…performance….results and league position that I think abt….wages are what they are…..no one was shouting give the players a raise when we were winning leagues….cups and European trophies……

Re: James Garner
And here yiu are putting made up finances on a player again rather than be thankful he’s playing well…. Also when we’re trying to build something solid and progress why do people want to sell off all our better players ? And buy what..? PS I got slayed earlier in this thread for even suggesting he s...

Re: James Garner
Yeah these are the games you really appreciate him and he's a genuinely great option. Low possession, low touches, work on hard, run them socks off, read the game well and compete in the middle. Quality on the ball from deep for me is lacking. He very rarely switches it, he very rarely changes the ...

Re: January Transfer Window
Shouldn’t waste our money in January, never value for money, look at what we did today, decent performances from Barry, Patterson and Rohl, then think Ndiaye, Gana, Dewsbury-Hall Hall, Branthwaite, Keane, Coleman, all back within a week or two, they’ll be like new signings ! Sort of get what you're...

Re: Positive outlook for remainder of season

Re: Scouting/recruitment
I fully understand why there's numerous players we cant attract but im not sure that's a defence for whoever is consistently failing in the transfer market. Sunderland had a more successful window than we've probably had in 5 years plus. They dont get their first choices either. Weve been getting i...
