The young lad did well.
Really good save towards the end as well even if it was probably creeping wide.
Dealt with everything well and looked a lot more assured than Henderson at the other end who was all over the place
Virginia did well. Shame for him that Pickford probably has another 5 years at the top.

That was a good save. Covered a lot of goal to get to that.

That is a heinous fucking thought I wish you’d kept to yourself.

Anyone that doesnt rate Pickford is basically an idiot.
They still do exist in our fanbase though.
Which is sad.

Think he's still getting better too. He's our best player. Probably our only unquestionably currently elite player. Seems to really love everton the mad bastard

I love Pickford but having Virginia as a back up, decent and young too, provides the option for a big sale if we really needed the funds to strengthen the squad....just sayin

Probably because he takes 5 freekicks per match on the half-way line

''Passes'' is a very liberal definition

Simple but effective, I think they said we've scored 5 goals from it too.
I don't mind it, can't be bothered with a free kick around the half way line and it just gets passed around the back. We've got big players that cause trouble in the box, we might as well use them.
