I was only thinking this the other day, but along the lines of naming stands, as I’m not into east, west etc. Definitely need Dixie and Kendall, after that I’m not sure, but as Gash said, I don't want statues galore.
The geographic names have definitely helped during the settling in period.
Dixie Dean and Alan Ball ends. Howard Kendall West Stand. Colin Harvey East stand. Anything else will cause problems.

It's a football stadium, not the fucking Vatican. How many statues are they wanting?
I want it to be like Crosby fucking beach!
You won a league? You get a statue.
Captained a team that won the league? Your statue gets an armband.
Top scorer? You're getting a ball.
I want a forest of the bastards

Baines... not that they'd approve, but that's kind of the point.

Kendall and Dixie have to be included, it’s Everton history not BMD, and it’s too long to wait for new heroes.
Unless they’re waiting to bring the statues from Goodison over when it gets closed in the not too distant future, imo.
Think the view is the statues might stay in situ as a lasting legacy to Goodison, which after a bit of reflection sounds ok to me. Always thought they'd move them.

I'd give Southall a statue. One of our only players in our history (maybe the only one?) who legitimately might've been the best player in the world in his position at his peak.

Have to agree.
Was the last goalkeeper to win the FWA Footballer of the Year award as well.

Be great if the sculptor incorporated the “I love my wife” tee shirt.

Also the most decorated player in our history with 2 titles 2 FA Cups and a CWC and record for most club appearances. Bit of a no brainer really.

I would love a statue of Big Nev in the half time post sitting protest pose somewhere in the vicinity of the stadium. Think it would be quite cool as it is the embodiment of NSNO.

Was he really the greatest goalkeeper in the world ? Lev Yashin, the only goalkeeper ever to win the ballon d’or might edge him out on that title.

Lev was great, but a bit past it by the mid-80s

Oh agree was past it in the 80’s but in the 60’s and 70’s he set a the bar so high that no goalkeeper has ever come near, that’s not to say that Nev was probably one of the best in his day .

But the point being Nev was best in his day, not best ever
