Grim read, but purely from a transfer pov he's only 28. Didn't think he was of the level to end up playing in Mexico.

Wolves fans rejoice, the Mateta deal is off!

Means Palace won’t buy Larsen and then they won’t spend that money on Che Adams and Adam Armstrong…

Whos probably the only 1 we got wrong when selling. In our defence though it took him a lot of years and some failed moves before coming good

Lesson in how all that glitters isn’t gold. Got his big move to moneybags City and all went downhill from there.

How good do you think Harvey Elliot actually is? Almost seen nothing of him for Villa. Sometimes you wonder like some of the fringe players for Man City playing alongside elite players if they look good because the team around them is performing well...or if they are actually of a high level themselves.

Macatee is another 1. Was scoring goals for city. Gone to forest for big money and he can't get a game and they say hes awful

I do wonder if playing for 1 of these dominant teams is a little like playing at a lower level for the fringe players. If the talent around you allows you more time and space and more chances to score and make goals

It definitely does. I wouldn't be surprised if Curtis Jones struggles for Premier League level if he ever leaves the shite
