The Esk saying administration is inevitable.
Have to take all the pinches of all the salt there.

Re: 777 Partners Takeover
Still a chance someone comes in and it’s not in anyone’s interest for us to go into administration… that said, he’s been right about most things - including that 777 never had the money and never had the means of raising it.
Re: 777 Partners Takeover
If you’re an Everton fan who dares raise your head above the parapet, you’re going to get slaughtered by the rest of the fanbase.
Re: 777 Partners Takeover
Mate, everybody knew this.
He was simply repeating what was being reported elsewhere.
He’s been wrong plenty of times.
Re: 777 Partners Takeover
Didn't the esk only literally just say a few days/weeks back that the club was far away from administration?
Wouldn't believe a word of the attention seeking dope.

Re: 777 Partners Takeover
I dont see how administration happens. We can leverage future revenue in the short term and we have too many saleable assets. We could get a sale agreed for Onana and Branthwaite tomorrow for well over £100 million and get 95% of that advance in a loan right away.
We are in big trouble without a sale but in the short term we still have the assets to keep things moving.
Need to drop another £30 million from payroll and get our debt servicing costs down by £10 million and we'll be fine. Both of those are realistic with a new owner willing to pay down the debt or provide us debt at no interest cost.

Re: the Esk
What is the alternative?
What is preferable, someone who actually understands finances and the operations of business, independently reporting with some depth and expertise what they can see and interpret based upon available evidence,... or having the fanbase essentially oblivious, operating in a vacuum of information, where only supposition and uninformed opinion reside?
We should be supporting these sources of information, especially the independent voices we have that provide what little we actually know, even if only 80% right. Forecasting, and projecting, which the papers don't really deal in, are never 100% right either. It's the weather man's conundrum. Yet it's still a hell of alot better than nothing at all.
The other thing is, just because there is a Sky Sports or The Times masthead emblazoned above an article, doesn't mean it's 100% accurate.
The Guardian even use the Esk's opinion in their articles. As far as reliability is concerned I don't see many referenced articles from "Bob from NSNO" or "Fred from toffeeweb".
It's so often shoot the messenger from people that admittedly have little clue themselves. Even if he does enjoy being the source that many listen to, I bet Sky Sports do too.

Re: 777 Partners Takeover
You can have masses of assets but if you don’t have the cash flow to pay your dues (wages, bills, etc) you go into administration. With the Mosh not investing any more of his (not really his) money into the club, it will go under.
MSP and the 2 Evertonians may or may not be interested in the club but they aren’t going to be offering the same terms as 777 were, most likely significantly less, probably on terms that Mosh isn’t happy with. As such, we sort of have a Mexican stand-off here with Mosh wanting X to get out, while the investor(s) want to pay significantly less than X to take over.
Our best case scenario is Mosh lowers his ‘price’ (to tuppence and a bag of crisps) and the new investors take over.

Administration is a very real possibility but it’s not inevitable.
MSP could have plunged us into administration a few weeks ago but decided not to call their loan in for a reason.
We also have assets in the squad we can sell off if needed.
We need some sort of resolution soon though.
