Today's Football 2023-24
Re: Today's Football 2023-24
He defended like a 12 year old last night, very rash in pressing a 100 mph against one of the quickest players around. Obviously only basing this on last night, I'm no European footie expert

We're not spending £30-40m on Branthwaite's replacement.Cods wrote: ↑Wed May 01, 2024 1:25 am Would we get 40-50m + a devalued Kim for Branthwaite (if he must be sold)? Pressure on Bayern to spend with the title going elsewhere.
Kim could rebuild his career here with a defensive minded manager if Bayern want rid, and we were rumoured to be looking at "the monster" before he went to Bayern. He'd be a vast improvement on our current stocks and we'd still get cash to satisfy the finances.
I do not want to sell Branthwaite, but if there's no choice it'd be terrible to downgrade too far from his level.

Wouldn't be that surprised if we spend 25m on a defender if we get big money..... it won't be someone who's probably earning 10m a year though
Re: Today's Football 2023-24
A deal topping out at £25m you'd hope we'd be able to manage. There's just so many other needs in the squad with so little money.777Kidnappings wrote: ↑Wed May 01, 2024 6:01 pm Wouldn't be that surprised if we spend 25m on a defender if we get big money..... it won't be someone who's probably earning 10m a year though

Let's go. That's a cracking goal. Low with pace. Proper striker's goal.

Is our stand at Bramley moore really going to be bigger than the yellow wall?
