Iliman Ndiaye
Re: Iliman Ndiaye
I liked him better crashing in at the back post on the right than cutting inside from the left this season.
I think you could get away with someone defensive and a bit uninspiring like Wan Bissaka at right back as long as you give Ndiaye carte blanche to make runs in behind and shamelessly hunt for goalscoring opportunities.
You do need a creative type at LB though to balance things out and offer an outlet to George or Grealish or whoever.
And a central midfielder with vision and passing range to supply some of those balls in behind.

C'mon brap, all we have? That's all we can glean?
It's not THE reason, hopefully obviously, but it is likely one of many. And is one that is often overlooked in team sports because its more difficult to quantify, not that it doesn't exist.
Would you define what is and isn't performance?
There's going to be a lot of analytical types that are going to be sad to hear you've dismissed their profession, and will no longer be referencing any nuanced analysis they produce.

I think he goes abroad if anywhere, dont see who he improves above us. Unless Rogers to Arsenal, Ndiaye to Villa maybe?

Re: Iliman Ndiaye
I can imagine it being depressingly true. Pushed out of his position by a better player but a player on triple his wages, who gets smashed all the time. Played out of position, the position he struggled with at Marseille, with a massive, out of position centre half behind him.

Sources don’t come more reputable than Anthony Scotland.
Let’s hope we get a good fee for him.

According to Blue Steel
Despite reports, Iliman Ndiaye has not asked to leave Everton. Ndiaye does have European ambitions but won’t force a move. Everton expect high interest in the player this summer.

Re: Iliman Ndiaye
Gets moved position. Given no support behind him. Has to play with misfiring strikers and no-one really to interplay with across a whole side of the pitch.
Wins African Nations, comes back on a high.
Different side of the pitch, same issues. Form dips. Knackered. Mind on the World Cup.
Decides to have a rethink about his future in the summer.
Plausible.

Re: Iliman Ndiaye
Think we could get £60m - £65m providing he didn't kick up a fuss to leave. However I doubt there's anything in that jarg twitter account rumour.
Think we need to remember where he's come from, and that should ground him and reduce any chance of a big ego that would push to leave a decent premier league club.
Not saying there won't be interest, or that he will definitely be here next season. Just highly doubt he'd be asking for a move or trying to force one through.

We Have Dibling waithing in the wings
Actually if we were to get £60m plus for him, replace with George, Jack back and another, possibly the lad from Leicester (can’t remember his name, fatawa or something) for a knockdown price, then that’s not a bad deal.
If Gordon goes for £70m then Ndaiye is surely worth £60m.
