Re: Everton v Man City
Thought everyone gave everything they had tonight, disapointing of course, but enjoyable watch.

Worryingly we can't close out games.
Three consecutive games conceding in the 90th+ now.
Fucking get back to basics and game management to see these games out.

Re: Everton v Man City
Tarks has put his hand up for the second, probably taking a bit of the heat off Keane I reckon.
Every player makes mistakes but it's honourable stuff in this game.
In this 'look at me' culture for all the good stuff and 'hide' for the not good. Good to see players putting their hand up when they've made a mistake.

Thought Myko was great tonight. Doesnt often get credit but best game I can remember from him.
Lost my head and my voice in those last 15 minutes. So gutted.

2 enforced subs in 2 games have really hurt us.Indiantoffee75 wrote: ↑Mon May 04, 2026 9:30 pm Worryingly we can't close out games.

I think we play on a plan of such discipline and workrate that someone coming off the bench will often actually leave us weaker than a tired player who is completely in the zone of what's required.
Re: Everton v Man City
It’s a fucking disgrace to see them announce an attendance of 52k when there were empty seats everywhere.
Fucking sort it out.
Fucking sort it out.
Re: Everton v Man City
City fans were giving it loads coming out, like it cost us more than them. Very odd.
Re: Everton v Man City
Micheal Oliver let city dictate that game at their will tonight.
When they wanted to slow it down he let them kick the ball away at will without a yellow.
When they were behind and wanted to get on with it he let them take free kicks quickly, twenty yards away from where the offence took place constantly.

Absolutely gutted we couldn't see that out.
So many chances to kill time when we had the ball in injury time only to cough it back up to them.
But beyond doubt what killed us was them pair of clowns tarkowski and keane letting Haarland waltz through to score from the kick off.
Beyond pathetic

Re: Everton v Man City
Mykolenko was always going to have a decent game. He likes it when he doesn’t have to run forward.
Someone needs to tell Ndiaye to dribble around the keeper in future if he hasn’t got his shooting boots on.
I’ll have to see it again and could be entirely wrong, but I think Barry’s second goal, the way he touched it in was low key sensational!
