And then there were two.
Another confidence sapping day for Spurs without even playing.
In the space of a fortnight they've seen a 2 and 3 point deficit on Forest and Leeds turn into 8 and 9.
They are running out of road here
If they don't beat Wolves tomorrow, they could be done

Talk about on the beach there.

Turns out sacking Sean Dyche for anyone semi competent isn’t a bad idea.
Wonder what excuses he'll come up with this time

So looks like it's boiled down to West Ham vs Spurs and Man City vs Arsenal for the respective run ins. We seem to be pretty involved given we're playing 3 of the teams.

You'd kinda still expect Spurs to beat Wolves, so it could be about what West Ham can do against us.

Then Arsenal play twice in the league against Newcastle and Fulham before we play Man City on the 4th. Arsenal could add to their goal difference possibly if Newcastle keep up recent form.

Fucking Millwall losing to leicester, with Oxford to play , massive fuck up if the don't , didn't pick up 6pts from two relegated teams .
Advantage Ipswich or Southampton

Back to 1-1 even that point probably puts them out of reach of Southampton as they really should beat Oxford at home. It'd likely be then if Ipswich could overtake, which they probably should be able to.

Not exactly a secret, but Jordan James looks a prospect.

Amazing how much Boro have bottled it. Wasn't so long ago they'd closed Coventry's 9 or 10 gap lead to go top, now they're relying on others to go up automtically and look like having to settle for a play off spot

I watched them when they played at Coventry, and though they lost i thought the were the better team and still thought they would win the title.
However they have dropped of a cliff form wise since then and look totally out of touch, all the other teams in play off contention look in better nick.
They only just got over the line against Sheff wed in midweek.
Stranger thing have happened, but it's hard to see them making promotion from here

Ollie Watkins kinda reminds me of DCL. Both of them are ok and sometimes can be almost unplayable when they’re really on a streak and have some confidence, but in the lulls too often a very average or weirdly even below average (in PL terms) finisher and seem to lack some composure.

England wise, I guess you just have to hope they happen get on a roll at the right time. I imagine one of them will be needed given the heat as Kane likely won’t be able to do every minute.

Rochdale and York still 0-0 with about 10 minutes to go.

Big day today top and bottom, still kinda have the lingering feeling Arsenal end up winning and Spurs get out of trouble at the bottom as their fixtures just seem kinder than those they’re competing with (Man City/West Ham).

Today might inform that a bit as Arsenal should really beat this Newcastle team and possibly even have a chance to rack up some goals to boost their goal difference. Spurs likewise almost won’t have a better chance of 3pts.

If either of the fuck up today I’d get a lot more pessimistic on their chances.
