Think a £10m loan fee hampers us from a PSR point of view... You can get 2x £25m players on 5 year deals for the same PSR expense.

We'll be juggling our cash to make the most out of what we can do within our limits this financial year, so I'm not convinced it makes a lot of sense.

Not much time before the season start really, just over a month. But I'd rather us get off to a bad start and lose a few points than be saddled with the wrong players, not good enough, over-priced, wrong age, wrong profile and a massive financial drain.

Think we might get two or three more in before the Leeds game and a few more towards the end of the transfer window.

Here's the state of play for everyone in the PL so far. We're a little behind most but there are others in similar or worse situations, and of course a team having signed a lot of players doesn't necessarily = a team that is successful. I found reading through it quite reassuring tbh.

That said, we're definitely coming from a place where we need to bring a lot of players in because of squad turnover so we really could do with a couple of solid additions in the next week or so.

Based on that I’d say buying the right players for the medium/long term is more important than having the full squad ready by week one.

Right now anybody at our level will sign for us but anybody at the European competition level either in potential or experience will be holding out for better options and they’re the players we should be wanting

We have maybe 14 actual players, and from them 3-4 are worst case scenario, manager doesn't fancy them, don't think they will actually play much really type guys.

Im looking at the lists on players teams around and below us have bought, and I'm fucked if I know if any of them are any good as I'd say a good 90% I've not knowingly heard of.
