Not down with the kids but I mean he would probably be good at us wouldn't he.

Big strong rough fast and a finisher.

Okay yeah you have to play back to front quickly but I mean...we probably will anyway.

£30m yep okay I'm game. See him going to Chelsea and riding pine for 2 years anyway.

A bit less than 30 mil for a striker and you're usually taking a complete punt these days aren't you?

For 30 it's a no brainer really as even if he flopped he'd still get decent sell on price for being English and having 1 good PL season.

As has been said though, I think he'll have better offers at clubs with European football.

Delap would be a fan favourite here 100%. Exactly the type of striker that most of us like to watch in a blue No.9 jersey.

I hadn’t seen Delap much so didn’t understand the hype, so I googled him. Along with some vids, mostly what came back was how he was going to either Chelsea or Man U.

Even if folk want him, I’m not sure we’ll be high on his list.

Not necessarily, as I mentioned above Wolves took Strand Larson on loan for a season without an obligation to buy who'd scored at a decent rate the season prior in Spain, then activated the purchase for less than Delap. That's really smart business... We need to be smart.

We are not even mentioned in the remote possibilities.

I can sort of see where he is coming from here.

Nevs always been like this though, sometimes he's over passionate but he is kinda right.

The "standards" of this club have been pathetic recently.

It's been a bit of an embarrassment having the clubs motto on the shirts as we're a million miles away from what it means.

I think maybe because he himself was at the club when it was the best in the world and how it's fallen he's a bit over passionate about it.

Disagree with him entirely about Ndiaye though, can't understand why he thinks he's shit.

That part makes me think he is out of touch a bit as he's every bit the modern player we've been starved of recently.

Fault of ownership alone imo

But he's just got champion standards and we haven't had a player worthy of it since Richy maybe.

Think you've got to be realistic. Of course we celebrated staying up because we were a poor side who might not stay up. You can't have a champions mindset without champions quality

Think he's talking shite about moyes too. Players come because you pay the wages and because you're a good team.
Chelsea and Newcastle aren't struggling to sign players because of their managers

Oh and it would be great if we finished 5th. Our ambitions can't be about where we were 40 years ago

Ndiaye is on for about 6 non pen goals and that would be outperforming his xg by X2.

I think we do possibly love him more than is warranted.

I like watching him and want him in the side, but being absolutely honest I'd swap him in a heart beat for a proper winger with pace.

One paced ball to feet man. Hope one day we can play him alongside a striker but doubt we'll ever see it.

You've got to account for Dycheball as well though
