Still think you can see the positives when he's on the pitch.

I'd have no issues at all signing him.

Think he's well worth the money. Doesn't all come off but he helps get us on the front foot

Yeah does try and make things happen doesn't he.

Never actually at the scene of the crime when things do come off but he's trying stuff which is half the battle.

Still reckon Moyes will be thinking of what else he can get for that £15m

He seems to lead plenty of breaks through midfield. He does botch a decent percentage of said breaks but if he didn't I think we'd be talking about a player for 40 or 50m (maybe even more) rather than 15.

I think at 15m he's a sure thing for at least being good value. It's pennies really in the modern game. We wouldn't get a quality championship player for that.

I don't think we are in a position to turn our noses up at a decent player for such a small fee. If moyes can do consistently better at them prices he'll be doing an amazing job

I think that character is something that Moyes is always keen on, and I think that he'll like Alcaraz on that front. He looks like a really positive character and a good team mate and I reckon that'll count for a lot in his favour with Moyes. A little thing that caught my eye today was his acknowledgement of McNeil's assist in the immediate aftermath of the goal - most players running towards Doucoure but Alcaraz busy pointing at McNeil as they're running in.

I know he's not started a huge amount, but I think that's at least in part down to Moyes desire to control the situation around us having to sign him as per the deal we've got. That and the fact that he's always bedded players in slowly.

The jury's out I think, but I'm in the keep him camp personally.

I like his positivity in trying to get forward instead of crab passing. Coach him right and he'll prove himself

Said it before but he's similar attributes to Morgan Rogers. If he can get anywhere near his level then we'll have a gem on our hands. Strikes as the sort of player that would improve in a setting where he can settle as part of the team and club rather than feeling like he's proving himself every match as is the case at the moment.

I'll be so disappointed if we don't sign him.

And he needs the #17 next year. Don't actually know who the current one is, but they need to vacate it.

We've been hurt so many times now that we'll take anyone who shows us the slightest bit of hope.

I don't even think he's shite?

I just think he's...okay

Promising enough but if we'd paid £15m for him at the start of the year I'd have been saying the same thing

There's this idea he's great value because he's locked at £15m. I'd absolutely love this to be a bargain pick up because he's gone to a big club yadda yadda Arteta Yadda yadda pienaar, but hes actually not shown himself to be worth it yet at all.

Wants to be positive, good on him, hope one day he is good enough to dislodge the man people on her describe as 'not even a footballer'.
