Out for the season?:

Coleman; Mangala; DCL; McNeil; Chermiti; Broja

It'll be a few weeks for Garner and Iroegbunam to get up to speed

Manic week for reinforcements - hopefully...

Really wish we knew what the budget was , have we go 10,20,30 or 40m to spend ? how much do we have to sell before we can buy ? Not sure it’s a significant amount ?

There was an article posted on here earlier in the week (iNews I think) which said we have £4-5m wiggle room with PSR, so how much we can spend would depend on amortisation, length of contracts, player outgoings etc.

There's definitely room to get a couple in, if the deals are right for us.

Probably fair to question though what could we really expect from him this season though.

Even if his latest setback does mean he's back mid February and there are no further issues, he's nowhere near match fit and that's before we get into the question of how much general experience he has.

As it stands we really just have Beto up top. Got to get another in.

Is that £4 to £5m plus whatever we can get in January sales ? Maybe Keane, DCL (someone might pay a couple of million for a crocked player)

Bobble speculated we have £10m to spend. That was before we got £625k for the sell on clause for Tom Cannon.

With our revenue increasing next year and accounts already being submitted at end of Dec I would consider taking a risk and overspending this window if we have to. We will be able to make it up with increased revenue next season as well as outgoings (likely Branthwaite).

Nobody is paying for an injured DCL with 4 months of his contract left.

Together with the fact that Chermiti has hardly played in the Premier League

Armstrong could be on about the same number of appearances as Chermiti by the time he is back fully fit

And if Beto gets injured...

This is how it was worded (it was £5-10m, not £4-5m, I misremembered it) -
Financial experts predict Everton have £5m-10m in PSR headroom to play with in the next fortnight.

In theory, they could spend up to £40m because, from a PSR perspective, a player signed for £40m on a four-and-a-half year contract would go on the books as £4.5m after amortisation is taken into account.

Don’t think season 25/26 income covers for overspend in season 24/25 which I understood to be the final year of the three year period ? I really don’t understand how it works.

Seeing as we only have Beto as striker, if he gets injured or fatigued we're cooked. I still think Barry Ferguson would suit us. He's prem ready and scores if supplied. Loan with option to buy?

I'd be on board with that if he wasn't a 46 year old coach who used to play centre mid.

Sorry, cheap shot, couldn't resist.
