Ok, can we do Man City?
Travelling at half a point per game the last little period, relegation form at least.
Maybe they can avoid the punishment of severe multi-league relegation by technicality, if they're not in the premier league at the time of the sanction being brought down?
why not lol - like u say citehs form is the worst - worse than man utd
if they are found guilty of 130 breaches then its fait accompli - they will be relegated with sanctions

"Should", but would they do that to poor struggling Citeh?

City's odds are an odd 1. They were 12/1 to be relegated at the start of the season. They are still 12/1 now. The bet at the beginning of the season would have been relegation as punishment now though 50 maybe even 40pts deducted would relegated them. Feels like they should be much shorter but who knows

I'd say that rules out the theory that the players know the result of the proceedings.
They're odds aren't odd, it's the bookies planning for the worst, they're not going to give 1000/1 or the likes while they've 115 charges against them and could be relegated as punishment. They've been 5-6th favourites for relegation all season, if they were in the 000s to one lots of people would have taken a punt knowing their case was coming up, it would be foolish for the bookies not to allow for that. They're not suddenly expecting them to be relegated on form though so the odds haven't changed much.
I think the fact the City odds haven't changed suggests there isn't a 40/50 point deduction coming. At the start of the season, when it seemed they would get 80 odd points minimum, that sort of deduction would not have caused relegation.
The fact they now look like getting considerably fewer points and the price hasn't contracted suggests the massive deduction isn't coming.
In a world full of adversity, we must still dare to dream.

At the start of the season you'd be expecting them to get high 80s minimum so 50pt deduction wouldn't relegate them. Now a 30 point reduction might and 40 probably would. Surely that should be taken into account
I think you're reading far too much into it, no one knows what kind of points deduction they may get it's just speculation, they might get a straight relegation down to League Two for all we know so they're allowing for that. All the bookies are doing is guarding against a run of bets, they're still about 5th favourites to go down.
I'm guessing the bookies will know what they're doing though, gambling's their thing.
Maybe, but given that City are on course to accrue way less points on the pitch than anyone predicted, the fact that that has triggered no move whatsoever in the market would seem significant.
Anyway, it's a relief that the Premier League haven't got them into an absurd situation where we are heading into the second half of a season with teams not knowing how many points they have or haven't got.
