Re: Today's Football 2024-25
32 games in and Everton are above Spurs and Man Utd - when you think we’ve operated with a very poor Sean Dyche for most of this season.
How does the average Man Utd fan, particularly one who witnessed the Fergie era, cope with the fact that teams like Brighton, Brentford, Fulham and Bournemouth are all going to finish comfortably above them while the best they can probably hope for is a 13th place finish.

I only know one but he can't wait for the season to be over. Thinks Amorin needs to be given time to overhaul the squad but reckons he'll probably only get a handful of game next season and if they aren't near the top they'll sack him.toffee_scot wrote: ↑Sun Apr 13, 2025 6:24 pm 32 games in and Everton are above Spurs and Man Utd - when you think we’ve operated with a very poor Sean Dyche for most of this season.

Feels like when we're talking there's huge parallels between the clubs with regards how bad owners have approached squad building and that whilst we're starting to come out of that Man UTD are only at the beginning of their descent trajectory.

Rome derby about to kick off.
6th and 7th in the league respectively so a lot to play for.
Should be a cracker.
Ranieiri has done an amazing job.

Re: Today's Football 2024-25
Wolves are on a bit of form, they’ve won their past 4 games.
Porto guy has not done a bad job. It was only in December when our Sean Dyche side annihilated them 4-0 when O Neil was still in charge.

Bournemouth v Fulham tonight.
For some reason I thought Bournemouth where a lot higher and had more points than 45.
2 teams we should aim at finishing above next season.

Bournemouth 11/10 tonight. Obviously they could win but given recent form that looks an awful price against a good side.
In a world full of adversity, we must still dare to dream.

I said 6 weeks ago in work that Bournemouth would get champions league, so that one is on me.

In fairness, my assessment they were poor value tonight appears to have led to them leading the game for what might end up being in excess of 89mins!

McTominay continuing to have a lovely old time of it in a midfield that also contains Billy Gilmour (!)

Mad isn’t it? The boys in Naples love him. The title is Inter’s to lose but it has been an unexpectedly good season for Napoli. Inzaghi and Conte both doing great jobs.Bluedylan1 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 15, 2025 4:32 am McTominay continuing to have a lovely old time of it in a midfield that also contains Billy Gilmour (!)
