If it wasn't for the 1878s this season would have been miserable.
Have to agree.

Maybe the take over and those in charge at the time etc had their mind elsewhere.

Hoping they do something big or at least different for the game against Southampton.

Paul McCartney rumoured to be performing at the final send off. Notices also gone up about extending licenses for concourses to serve until 90mins after final whistle

Dreading the last day, but also want to enjoy it. This is massive thing, a historical thing. My fuckin life was behind those walls for decades, the tears and laughs, the comradeie of many. Never again feels too long like in most grief. We haven't got tickets but still going because we, or i have to be there.

The Paul McCartney thing must be blag.

Why would we want this to happen anyway? This is about Everton and our last game at Goodison park.

Who’s paying him half a million to do it?

How are we getting a stage onto the pitch after the game?

Why would he do it?

He isn’t even a blue. Let’s just have the last game and have the emotion pour out at the end in an organic way.

The club don’t need to do much. It’s all about the fans that day.

An 82 year old singing a 57 year old song. It will probably be a bit different but not necessarily in a good way.

There’s nostalgia and then there are barrels to scrape. I’d like to think we can do better as a farewell.

We'll agree to disagree then, I'm not sure getting a Beatle to sing at the closing of your stadium could be described as scraping the barrel. The majority weren't saying that when he played at Glastonbury 3 years ago

Appears to be the Monday night based on the wording of the license application but nothing confirmed
