Re: Beto
He’s a decent mid-prem level striker who has just not adapted to the prem yet. Hardest position in the world to give someone time but he can still turn into a good buy for us.

Re: Beto
So with DCL running down his contract and Beto being shit we’re going to need a new striker soon aren’t we.
Don’t have high hopes for a Chermiti either

Re: Beto
Don't think there's anything to suggest DCL is running his contract down. He's out of form, low on confidence and we haven't offered him a new one.StirlingBlue wrote: ↑Sun Jan 14, 2024 4:13 pm So with DCL running down his contract and Beto being shit we’re going to need a new striker soon aren’t we.

He's still working his arse off for the team and his commitment isn't in doubt, but he's missed two years of football and it's showing when he's presented with a chance.
Re: Beto
Yeah he's not very good really is he?
Feel that he will at least chip in with the odd few goals but he isn't gonna cut it in this league.
Just looks like he has no natural ability. Can hope he comes good after a season of acclimatising.

Re: Beto
I don't like writing players off, especially when they need to time adapt and playing 25 mins in a scrappy match is hardly a great way to do so... however I am wondering if we have some option to send him back seeing as we've not paid anything yet?
I really didn't want Che Adams but I'd swap right now given the chance.
